This function allows you to select the steps that your teachers and coaches can use within the Library, drop-ins and coaching.
You can select Steplab content or your school's own custom curriculum content, or a combination of the two. This ensures teachers and coaches are only accessing the steps you have chosen.
As standard, the content you select using this tool is accessible in the Library and for both coaching and drop-ins. However, this guide also shows you how to choose different, specific content for coaching and drop-ins. Using different curriculums for coaching and drop-ins helps tailor professional development to users in your context.
How to select the PD curriculums your users can see
1. Click 'Manage'.
2. Navigate to 'Manage PD Curriculum' and click 'Select curriculum for coaching and drop-ins'.
3. The PD curriculums that are currently visible for teachers and coaches are shown under 'Coaching curriculum'.
4. To add more curriculums to this list, click 'Add curriculums'.
5. Click 'Select one or more curriculums'. Search for and select the curriculums you wish to add.
6. Click 'Add curriculums'.
7. To remove a PD curriculum, click on the arrow and then 'Remove curriculum'.
8. Click 'OK'.
How to have different curriculums available for drop-ins and coaching
1. Click 'Use different curriculum for drop-ins'.
2. Click 'OK'.
3. The page refreshes to show the list of available PD curriculums for drop-ins. At first, this list will be identical to the coaching list.
However, you can edit from this point onwards.
4. To add or remove curriculums, follow the instructions in the 'How to select the PD curriculums your users can see' section above. You can switch between 'Coaching' and 'Drop-ins' using the tab selector.
To switch back to using the same PD curriculums for both drop-ins and coaching
1. Click 'Use same curriculum as Coaching for drop-ins' and confirm your choice if asked.
